3.Purpose of Use of Personal Information and Stored Personal Data
Any personal information entered into this form will only be used within the following parameters.
Purpose of use of personal information handled through our business activities:
・For consideration of candidates for hiring and any and all communication involved in the hiring process
4.Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Personal information obtained by BHLC will not be provided to third parties except in the following cases.
(1) When there is consent from the person whose information it is
(2) When required by law
(3) When it is necessary for the protection of human life, limb, or property and it is not feasible to gain the consent of the person
(4) When obtaining consent will jeopardize the completion of duties involved in cooperating with a national or regional government body or any party contracted by these government bodies, in order to complete legally mandated duties
5.Regarding Joint Use of Personal Information
At BHLC, we will use personal information jointly within the following parameters, limited to the following pieces.
(A) Pieces of Personal Information to Be Used Jointly
(1) Information regarding personal profiles, such as name, date of birth, or profession
(2) Information regarding contact details, such as email addresses, telephone numbers, or addresses
(3) Any information submitted to BHLC by clients through online forms and other methods determined by BHLC
(4) Information regarding referrers, IP addresses, and server access logs
(5) Identifiers such as cookies, ADID, or IDFA, etc.
(6) Information listed in CVs or resumes
(B) Scope of Joint Users of Personal Information

(C) Purpose of Joint Use
(1)Training for Individuals
Provision of language instruction, educational services, study-abroad counseling, etc.
(2)Student Information for Corporate Clients
Completion of contracted duties (provision of language training, etc)
(D) Means or Methods of Provision
When using information jointly, the joint use partners will view and use client personal information that has been registered and is managed on the BHLC online system. Any handovers of files between joint use partners will be through online storage.
6.Regarding Seconding of Duties
BHLC may second part or all of certain services or the handling of inquiries regarding these services to a third party as part of the management of these services.
In this case, personal information will be disclosed by BHLC to these third parties only insofar as is necessary for completion of the seconded duties.
7.Regarding Disclosure, etc. of Personal Information
If there is a request from the subject of the personal information stored by BHLC or from the legal representatives of the subject, to announce purpose of use, disclose or amend content, add or delete information, or exercise the right to veto use or provision of the information, or disclose records kept by third parties (hereinafter “disclose, etc.”), as a general rule BHLC will disclose without undue delay. If BHLC is not legally obligated to disclose, however, due to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws, BHLC will not disclose. BHLC will charge a handling fee (JPY 3000 per case) for requests for notification of purpose of use or other disclosure.
(1)Procedure for Requesting Disclosure, etc.

(2)Procedure for Confirming that the Requester of Disclosure, etc. Is the Person Whose Information It Is, or Their Representative
・Submission of a copy of an official photo ID issued by a public body, such as a driver’s license or passport
(3)Confirmation of Identity and Confirmation of Payment of the Fee
・BHLC will disclose, etc. or otherwise respond only once the identity of the requester has been confirmed as the person whose information it is, or their representative, and payment of the fee has been confirmed.
(4)In any of the following cases, BHLC may not be able to respond to requests for disclosure.
(A)When the identity of the requester cannot be confirmed
(B)When the personal information under consideration does not exist in the data kept by BHLC
(C)When there is concern that disclosure might harm the life, body, property, or other rights of the requester or third parties
(D)When there is concern that disclosure might seriously obstruct the appropriate business operations of BHLC
(E)When disclosure would be illegal
8.Measures for the Management of Safety
(1)Adoption of a basic policy regarding the appropriate handling of personal information and personal data

11.Regarding the Optionality of Client Provision of Personal Information and Possible Consequences of Refusal to Provide Personal Information
It is optional whether clients provide personal information, but if there is no provision of the personal information requested by BHLC, or the information provided is inaccurate, please be advised that there may be adverse effects on the provision of services or handling of business matters.
Use of Google Analytics
BH Group uses a service provided by Google, Google Analytics. Use of Google Analytics on the BH Group website means that Google will use the cookies issued by BH Group to gather records of visitors to the BH Group website, record, and analyze this data. BH Group will then receive this analyzed data from Google in order to monitor client visits to the BH Group website.
Information gathered, recorded, and analyzed by Google Analytics does not contain any identifying elements to pinpoint individuals. That information will be managed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Use of Google Ads
Berkeley House Group uses Google Ads, which is a service provided by Google LLC.
Google Ads compares customer personal information received from Google LLC with the personal information of the same customers, that is under the management of BH Group, analyzing this, for the purpose of distributing ads and analyzing the efficacy of ads.
For example, Google ads receives advertising identifiers, email addresses, and other customer personal information, then compares them to the advertising identifiers and other personal information managed by BH Group, analyzing them, so that it can deliver customized ads to customers.
It may also modify personal information managed by BH Group so that individuals are impossible to identify, then provide this to Google LLC in order to provide better-customized ads to customers.
Also, it may compare customer personal information received from Google LLC with the personal information of the same customers, that is under the management of BH Group, analyzing this, then modify the personal information so that individuals are impossible to identify, then provide this to Google LLC for the purpose of marketing, or improving and developing services.
